Four-star wide receiver Kelvin Harmon committed to South Carolina on Thursday, he announced via Twitter.

Harmon, a South Jersey native who attends Palmyra High School, chose Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks over NC State, UNC, West Virginia, Temple and Rutgers.

“I like the atmosphere there,” Harmon told Rivals.com. “I also really like the coaches and the offense they run. They throw the ball a lot over there and they have a good, young quarterback too.”

The 6'3" wideout is the third receiver and 16th commitment in South Carolina's 2016 class.

As a junior at Palmyra, Harmon had 54 catches for 829 yards and 16 touchdowns.
