Oregon, Oregon State to honor shooting victims with helmet decals

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers will wear decals on their helmets to honor the people killed in a Thursday shooting at Umpqua Community College in southern Oregon, the schools announced.

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers will wear decals on their helmets to honor the people killed in a Thursday shooting at Umpqua Community College in southern Oregon, the schools announced.

The Ducks travel to Colorado Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET, while the Beavers have the weekend off.

UCC is just an hour north from Autzen Stadium, where Oregon plays, and an hour and 45 minutes from Reser Stadium, the Beavers’ home field.

The shooting killed ten people, while injuring others.

Oregon State posted a photo of the two schools’ helmets on Twitter.
