Campus Clicks: Saban rips media; Oregon's Lewis & Clark-themed uniforms

What the BLEEP is Going On?
Texas fans have experienced a lot of success over the years so it's tough to truly feel sorry for them but that doesn't make the situation in Austin any easier to digest.
The Longhorns are 1–4, were embarrassed by TCU, and freshman DB Kris Boyd retweeted a tweet that called for him to transfer to Texas A&M during halftime. The Twitter fireworks continued on Monday when all hell literally broke loose. You have to read the quotes and exchanges to believe it.
From a 10,000-foot view, Charlie Strong's seat appears scorching hot, but apparently he has full support of the Texas administration:
Per a high level source: Charlie Strong still has full and committed support within the Texas administration and AD office.

Odds and Ends
The University of Colorado is hosting the GOP debate on October 28th, but students aren't welcome. Why? ... 10 Staggering Numbers from CFB's Week 5 ... USC AD Pat Haden wrote a classy letter to injured UCLA linebacker Myles Jack ... Top 10 coaching hot seats in power conferences ... Tennessee will wear some sick new "Smokey Grey" uniforms this weekend ... Ex-Michigan quarterback Russell Bellomy is transferring again, this time from UTSA ... Notre Dame and Navy will wear matching baselayers to honor rivalry and out of respect for each other ... Campuses debate rising demands for "comfort animals" ... This "This is SportsCenter" parody of using footage from Cal-Stanford Band Game is priceless.
