Wake Forest (2–3) travels to Boston College (3–2) on Saturday, as both teams look to get in the win column after opening 0–2 in ACC play.

The Demon Deacons played Florida State tough last week, but have yet to register a win over a BCS-conference school, with losses coming against Indiana and Syracuse this season. Wake Forest has deployed several rushers this year, led by Kendall Hinton (218 yards, four touchdowns). Hinton started at quarterback last week against FSU, while John Wolford, who opened the season as the starter, remains day-to-day with an ankle injury.

Boston College had difficulties scoring in last week's 9–7 loss to Duke. The defensive effort was there, but quarterbacks Troy Flutie and Jeff Smith struggled mightily, as the team failed to reach the end zone despite possessing a rushing attack that scored 11 times in its first four games. Improved offensive play will be necessary for the Eagles to notch a victory against the Deacons.
