The No. 4 Michigan State Spartans will travel to New Jersey to face Rutgers on Saturday at High Point Solutions Stadium.

The Spartans (5–0) will look to remain atop the playoff picture after beating Purdue last week 24–21. Saturday's game marks Michigan State's first road game since the first week of the season when they played at Western MichiganConnor Cook, who has the most wins in school history at quarterback, has thrown for 977 yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season.

Rutgers (2-2) defeated Kansas last week 27–14 after losing two straight games. Head coach Kyle Flood earned his first win of the season last week after being suspended three games for violating university policy by contacting a faculty member about a player's grade. Scarlet Knights leading receiver Leonte Carroo returned to practice on Thursday after criminal charges against him were dropped.
