The upstart Syracuse Orange (3–1) will travel to South Florida to face the Bulls (1–3) for their homecoming game on Saturday.

Syracuse, who is coming off a bye week after a 10-point loss to No.7 LSU two weeks ago, will play on the road for the first time this season. Against LSU, junior college transfer Zack Mahoney, the fifth-string quarterback in the preseason, led the way with 154 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Orange. Just four games into the season, Syracuse has already matched its win total from 2014.

South Florida is the loser of three-straight games after opening the season with a 51–3 win against Florida A&M. In two-plus seasons under head coach Willie Taggart, the Bulls are 7–21 heading into Saturday’s homecoming game. South Florida has lost its past five homecoming contests.
