Iowa Hawkeyes defensive end Drew Ott has a torn ACL, reports the Cedar Rapids Gazette’s Marc Morehouse.
Ott sustained a knee injury Saturday during Iowa’s game against Illinois. In the third quarter, Ott was rushing the passer when he pulled up and fell to the turf after appearing to hurt his knee.
Ott entered Saturday with four sacks and three forced fumbles. He battled an elbow injury earlier in the season. In his career, Ott has recorded 14 1/2 sacks.
The Hawkeyes remained undefeated with a 29–20 win over the Fighting Illini.
