West Virginia will travel to Waco, Texas, to take on Baylor at McLane Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Baylor is coming off a 66–7 win against Kansas last week. The Bears are now 5–0 and their No. 2 ranking is the highest ever in school history. Baylor had a 52–7 lead at halftime of their game against Kansas and sat some starters for the second half. Quarterback Seth Russell threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns.
West Virginia will look for a win after losing its second straight game, falling to Oklahoma last week 33–26 in overtime. Wide receiver Wendell Smallwood had 19 catches for 147 yards and one touchdown.
