Four-star small forward Vance Jackson from Prolific Prep (Calif.) has committed to play for the Connecticut Huskies, he announced on Twitter.

Four-star small forward Vance Jackson from Prolific Prep (Calif.) has committed to play for the Connecticut Huskies, he announced on Twitter.

Jackson was rated as the No. 72 player in the 2016 recruiting class according to Rivals, and No. 10 at small forward. He joins top-50 recruits Juwan Durham (No. 31)​ and Alterique Gilbert (No. 36) at UConn.

Jackson, a 6'7" combo guard, spent two years at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif. before switching to Prolific Prep following a coaching change. 

He also had offers from Arizona, California, Maryland and Memphis.

UConn starts its 2015–16 campaign on Nov. 13 against Maine.
