Houston (6–0) enters Saturday ranked No. 21 in the country, behind the 13th-best offense in college football. The Cougars are led by junior quarterback Greg Ward Jr., who is first on the team in passing (1,524 yards) and rushing (631). He has completed just under 72% of his passes with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. The Cougars have won their last two games in decisive fashion, by a combined 56 points.

UCF (0–7) is still seeking its first win of the year and has lost its last two games by a combined 41 points. The Knights have scored just 15 points per game this season, tied for 264th in the nation. On the other side of the ball, they are allowing almost 30 points per game. Three UCF quarterbacks have combined to throw for 1,407 yards with 14 interceptions. Junior Justin Holman, who started the season at quarterback and then sat out the better part of four weeks, is back under center. He’s thrown 81 times over the past two games, with five interceptions.
