The Nebraska Cornhuskers will host the Northwestern Wildcats at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday at noon.

The Wildcats (5–2) will attempt to get back on track after falling 40–10 to No. 17 Iowa for their second straight loss last Saturday. The Hawkeyes held Northwestern scoreless in the second half, pulling away for a big win. The loss caused Northwestern to fall out of the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Wildcats were previously in the No. 20 spot in Week 7.

The Cornhuskers (3–4) are coming off of a 48–25 win over Minnesota. The victory was the first in the Big Ten Conference under head coach Mike Riley. Quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. completed 18 of 26 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns to secure the win.
