Running back Joe Mixon added a touchdown on the ground, carrying the ball 15 times for 73 yards. Oklahoma’s defense shut down the Wildcats, holding them to 110 total yards.
Texas Tech is on a two-game winning streak after beating Kansas 30–20 last week. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes finished the game 29 for 50 passing with 354 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Running back DeAndre Washington eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the third time this season, carrying the ball 23 times for 157 yards and a touchdown.
