The Penn State Nittany Lions (5–2) head on the road to take on the Maryland Terrapins (2–4) at Byrd Stadium on Saturday.

Penn State had its five game winning streak snapped by a 28–10 loss to Ohio State last week. The Nittany Lions kept the ball on the ground and had some success, with running back Saquon Barkley carrying the ball 26 times for 194 yards. Penn State struggled to convert those rushing yards into points, scoring just one touchdown, which came on a Christian Hackenberg pass. Hackenberg finished the game 7 for 13 passing with 120 yards.

Maryland’s last game coming into this matchup was also a loss to Ohio State. The Terrapins managed to put 28 points on the Buckeye defense, but had no answer for the Ohio State offense, losing 49–28. Quarterback Perry Hills found success on the ground, rushing the ball 25 times for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Hills finished the game 10 for 27 passing with 133 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
