Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche will not play against Texas A&M, reports ESPN’s Holly Rowe.

Nkemdiche sustained a concussion against Memphis last week while taking a snap at running back. The star defensive tackle woke up with headaches Saturday morning, coach Hugh Freeze said during his pregame radio show.

Redshirt fresman Breeland Speaks started in place of Nkemdiche against the Aggies.

In seven games this season, Nkemdiche has 17 total tackles, including 1 1/2 sacks and 5 1/2 tackles for loss. In limited snaps on offense, Nkemdiche has a 31-yard touchdown catch and two rushing touchdowns.
