The Texas A&M Aggies (5–2) will host the South Carolina Gamecocks (3–4) at Kyle Field on Saturday. 

Texas A&M is coming off consecutive losses after being blown out by Ole Miss 23–3 last week. Quarterback Kyle Allen struggled, going 12 for 34 with 88 yards and an interception in the loss. The Aggies also failed to get their running game going, tallying 58 yards on 27 carries. In total, Texas A&M could only manage 192 yards, while turning the ball over three times and earning 12 first downs. 

South Carolina snapped a two-game losing streak with a 19–10 win over Vanderbilt. Quarterback Perry Orth finished the game 17 of 28 with 272 yards and one touchdown. Running back Brandon Wilds eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the second time this season, putting up 119 yards on 24 carries. Kicker Elliott Fry proved to be the difference maker, hitting four field goals from 19, 22, 31 and 47 yards.
