Nickname: Crimson Tide.

Coach: Avery Johnson.

Conference: SEC.

Who's gone: G Retin Obasohan, G Arthur Edwards.

Who's back: Shannon Hale. Junior forward is the top returning scorer after averaging 10.8 points in less than 25 minutes per game; G Dazon Ingram Is back after his freshman season ended early with a broken left foot; F Jimmie Taylor led team in blocked shots.

Who's new: G/F Nick King. Former top recruit who played two seasons at Memphis. G Ar'Mond Davis. One of top junior college recruits and strong outside shooter.

The Skinny: Alabama hasn't made it to the NCAA Tournament since 2012. Should be better on the boards with addition of graduate transfer Bola Olaniyan and Ingram's return, but must replace team's leading scorer in Obasohan.
