Who's gone: F Michael Carrera, a first-team all-SEC selection last year, F Mindaugus Kacinas, C Laimonis Chatkevicious, G Marcus Stroman, G Jamall Gregory, F Raymond Doby, F Eric Cobb.

Who's back: G Sindarius Thornwell is the team's top returning scorer at 13.5 points a game and made the all-SEC defensive team, G Duane Notice was named the SEC sixth man of the year.

Who's new: G Tommy Corchiani, G Hassani Gravett, F Khadim Gueye, G Kory Holden, F Sedee Keita, F Maik Kotsar, F Ran Tut.

The Skinny: South Carolina infamously - and incorrectly - was sent a text from the NCAA saying it made the NCAA Tournament, then was not picked. The Gamecocks won't have many big bodies as they try to make the tournament for the first time since 2004.
