Line: Utah by 24

Series Record: Oregon State leads 11-7-1

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Utah dropped its first game of the season last week and fell out of the Top 10. The Utes are the lone one-loss team in the Pac-12 South and the goal remains to win the division and the conference title. A one-loss Pac-12 champion is likely to get a berth in the College Football Playoff. The Beavers are in search of their first conference victory under first-year coach Gary Andersen

KEY MATCHUP

The Utah defense had to prepare for two quarterbacks this week. Oregon State freshman Seth Collins has started every game and leads the team with 536 rushing yards and five touchdowns. He's only completed 51.9 percent of his passes, though, with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Redshirt freshman Nick Marshall played in his first game last week and threw for 122 yards. The Utes have the No. 3 total defense in the Pac-12 and have faced more traditional veteran quarterbacks the last three games in Cody Kessler, Mike Bercovici and Jared Goff.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oregon State: LB Rommel Mageo. The junior does a little bit of everything for the Beavers defense. He leads the team in tackles (55), sacks (2.0), interceptions (2) and fumbles forced (2).
