Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds tied the FBS record for career rushing touchdowns with a two-score performance against South Florida on Saturday.

Reynolds found the end zone twice in the fourth quarter of a 29–17 victory to bring him 77 career touchdowns, tying running back Montee Ball’s mark set at Wisconsin in 2012.

Reynolds, a senior, has started since 2012 and passed the 4,000 yard mark on the ground last weekend against Tulane.

The Midshipmen improved to 7–1 on the season with the win, making them bowl eligible.

They’ll travel to Memphis next week as Reynolds attempts to break Ball’s record. If he’s unsuccessful, he will still have four more games to surpass him.
