USC cornerback Adoree’ Jackson recorded his first career interception in spectacular fashion on Saturday, picking off California quarterback Jared Goff and returning the ball 46 yards for a touchdown.
Jackson skied for the interception in the middle of the third quarter around midfield and maneuvered his way around a large group of Golden Bears defenders to get close to the end zone. Then, as he headed for the pylon on the near left side of the field, he dragged Goff with him a few yards before stretching out his arms and breaking the plane with the football.
The score helped put the Trojans up 24–7.
