Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock left Saturday night’s game against Minnesota with an apparent injury.

While scrambling in the third quarter, Rudock was hit by two Gophers defenders, the first in the ribs from his left side by Julian Huff and the second, Andrew Stelter, striking helmet-to-helmet on the right. Rudock lost his helmet on the play and lay on the ground as Michigan medical staff tended to him on the field. He left for the locker room under his own power.

Rudock had completed 13 of 21 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Sophomore WIltonSpeight entered as his replacement.

Minnesota led Michigan 26–21 late in the fourth quarter.
