USC Trojans wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has a fractured hand, interim coach Clay Helton announced Saturday.

Smith-Schuster sustained the injury during the first half of the Trojans’ 27–21 win over California on Saturday. He played through the injury for part of the second half before eventually being removed from the game.

Smith-Schuster may be able to play in the Trojans’ next game depending on the pain level of his injury.

Smith-Schuster, a sophomore, has 47 catches for 901 yards and eight touchdowns in eight games this season. He caught five passes for 55 yards against the Golden Bears.
