WHAT'S AT STAKE

Utah is still in control of the Pac-12 South and holds an outside shot of getting back into the College Football Playoff conversation but cannot afford a slip-up in the first of two straight road games. Washington already has one win over a ranked opponent this season and is coming off its most impressive conference win in two seasons with a 49-3 rout of Arizona.

KEY MATCHUP

Utah pass defense vs. Washington QB Jake Browning. Utah has the top rushing defense in the Pac-12 allowing 113.1 yards per game on the ground. But the Utes pass defense has been susceptible at times. Browning is coming off one of the best games of his freshman season, throwing for 264 yards and four touchdowns and running for another in the Huskies blowout of Arizona. It was the first time Browning topped 200 yards passing in Pac-12 play.

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Utah: RB Devontae Booker. Booker needs 34 yards rushing for his second straight 1,000-yard season on the ground and has accounted for 68 percent of Utah's yards rushing this season. He'll be facing a Washington defense that has allowed a 100-yard rusher in three of the past four games.

Washington: LB Travis Feeney. The Pac-12 defensive player of the week is coming off one of the best games of his career. Feeney had 11 tackles, 4 1/2 tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles in the win over Arizona. Feeney leads the Pac-12 with 6 1/2 sacks.
