Week 10 Saturday picks: Alabama-LSU, Clemson-Florida State, more

College football Week 10 picks: SI.com's writers predict winners for Alabama-LSU, Florida State-Clemson and more.

It's November, which means we’re getting closer to the end of the regular season. It also means were getting closer to the second edition of the College Football Playoff. The first playoff rankings were released this week, and before you know it selection committee chair Jeff Long will be explaining why certain teams did and did not make the final four-team field.

In the meantime, squads will look to bolster their résumés, and there are a number of important games this week. Can unbeaten Clemson handle its toughest test in ACC play, a visit from one-loss Florida State? Will Notre Dame stumble at Pittsburgh? Who will emerge from Alabama-LSU as the SEC’s top team? A group of SI.com college football writers—Andy Staples, Pete Thamel, Thayer Evans, Zac Ellis, Colin Becht, Lindsay Schnell, Brian Hamilton and Ben Glicksman—offers its predictions for those games and more.
