The SEC East Champion Florida Gators (8–1) will travel to South Carolina to face the Gamecocks (3–6) on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gators are coming off a 9–7 win against Vanderbilt, which earned them their first SEC championship game appearance since 2009. Austin Hardin’s field goal with 2:22 remaining in the fourth quarter sealed the win for Florida against the Commodores.

Last week, the Gamecocks dropped an SEC contest to Tennessee in the final seconds of the game. With 32 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Jerell Adams fumbled the ball as he was heading for the red zone with his team trailing by three points. The Vols recovered the football, and ultimately sealed the 27–24 victory.
