The Oklahoma State men’s and women’s basketball teams will wear uniforms honoring Native American Heritage Month this November.

The Cowboys will wear the Nike uniforms when they open their season at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday against UT Martin, while the Cowgirls will wear the uniforms on Nov. 20 against SIU Edwardsville.

The uniforms are part of Nike’s N7 Power of Perseverance Collection, and are the color turquoise, which represents harmony, friendship and fellowship in Native American culture.

Oklahoma State will be joined by eight other NCAA basketball programs in honoring Native American heritage this month.

The Cowboys tipoff against UT Martin at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, while the Cowgirls host Lamar earlier that day at noon ET.
