Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller has announced that he plans to return for his final year of eligibility next year.

“I came here to get my degree,” Fuller said, according to Nick Ironside of 247 Sports.

The junior is projected to be a first- or second-round pick in the NFL draft, so his decision to stay will make a big impact on Notre Dame’s football program next year.

Fuller has amassed 2,154 yards receiving in his three years with the Fighting Irish. This season, he has 900 yards off 44 catches for 12 touchdowns. Fuller’s offensive contribution has helped Notre Dame overcome early-season injuries to be ranked fourth in the latest College Football Playoff.

Fuller is second on Notre Dame’s career touchdown receptions with 28, which ranks behind only Michael Floyd’s 37 career touchdowns.
