The Texas Longhorns (4–5) will travel to face the West Virginia Mountaineers (4–4) on Saturday.

After a disappointing start to the season, Texas has gone 3–1 since falling to TCU on Oct. 3, including a 24–17 upset win against Oklahoma. After the Mountaineers, the Longhorns will face Texas Tech and No. 6 Baylor to close out the regular season.

The Mountaineers opened their Big 12 slate with brutal matchups (Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU) and got their first conference win last week against Texas Tech. A win against Texas would put West Virginia one victory away from bowl eligibility.
