TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin left Saturday’s game against Kansas with an ankle injury, reports Travis L. Brown of the Star-Telegram.

Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson told FOX Boykin would not return for the second half. After the game, Patterson said he thinks Boykin will return next week.

Boykin went to the locker room in the first half with a noticeable limp after taking a sack. Boykin also walked off the field gingerly after sustaining a big hit on the Horned Frogs’ first drive of the game.

Boykin completed five of eight passes for 54 yards before exiting the game.

Boykin had thrown for 3,373 yards with 29 touchdown and nine interceptions entering Saturday. The senior has thrown for over 10,500 yards in his career with 84 touchdowns.
