NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) DeAngelo Coleman made four free throws with 1:16 left to help NAIA Louisiana State-Alexandria beat Northwestern State 99-97 Monday night.

It was LSU-Alexandria's second win against a Division I opponent this season - but it was an exhibition game for the General's.

Zeek Woodley's 3-point play cut LSU-Alexandria's lead to 92-89 with 1:42 left before Coleman's heroics at the free-throw line. He made four-straight free throws after a technical foul was called on the Demons' bench.

Coleman finished with 22 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and 8 for 10 from the free throw line. Gilbert Talbot added 19 points and Darius Johnson 17. The Generals made 36 of 41 free throws.

Woodley scored a career-high 39 points for Nothwestern State (0-2) on 14-of-19 shooting from the field and 10 for 10 from the free throw line. Woodley also led the Demons with eight rebounds.
