Alabama wide receiver Richard Mullaney made quite an impressive catch during Saturday’s game against Charleston Southern.

With Alabama leading 14–0 in the first quarter, quarterback Jake Coker found Mullaney in the back of the end zone, and the receiver completed a rather difficult catch. The 6’3” senior jumped up to grab the ball over Charleston Southern cornerback Raymere Thomas, and while falling backwards to make the play, Mullaney managed to get his left foot down and in bounds.

The referees originally ruled the play an incomplete pass, but after further review, Mullaney’s catch was ruled a touchdown.

Mullaney, who transferred to Alabama after three seasons with Oregon State, has 28 receptions for 261 yards and three touchdowns this season.
