Wisconsin students ejected for throwing snowballs at cheerleaders

Fans at Wisconsin directed snowballs at Badgers cheerleaders during Saturday’s game against Northwestern.
During the second quarter, some students began throwing snowballs at each other in the stands. They then turned them on their own cheerleaders, who had to leave the field due to the volume of snowballs being thrown in their direction.
The Police had to issue a statement, telling students that they would be cited and ejected if they were caught.

C'mon students - we'd rather you not throw snowballs. But please do NOT throw at the field. If you're caught, you will be cited and ejected.

There weren't many Wisconsin fans here to start and now some are being ejected for the snowballs. Jump Around might be disappointing today.

Here’s what the field looked like afterward:
Northwestern held a 7–0 lead at the time of the incident.
