AP Top 25: Kentucky moves into No. 1 spot, Miami enters at No. 15

Kentucky is the No. 1 team in the country in the latest AP poll.

The Kentucky Wildcats are now the No. 1 team in the country, according to the latest AP Top 25 Poll. 

The Wildcats, who were No. 1 every week last season, take the spot formerly held by North Carolina. The Tar Heels dropped to No. 9 after a loss to Northern Iowa

North Carolina’s drop helped numerous teams, with Maryland, Duke, Michigan State and Oklahoma among those rising up. The Miami Hurricanes also entered the top 25 at No. 15 after wins over Utah and Butler to start their season.
