After injuring his ankle and hand in Saturday’s 45–35 win over Oklahoma State, Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham is questionable for this Friday’s game against TCU, coach Art Briles told reporters on Monday.

The freshman was ailing before the Oklahoma State game as well, as his status was questionable entering the game with a back injury.

Third-string signal caller Chris Johnson took over for the injured Stidham at the end of the game, running six times for 42 yards and completing five of his 10 passing tries for 105 yards. Stidham had completed 12 of 21 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown before leaving.

Baylor is already down their opening-day starter at quarterback, with Seth Russell lost for the season with a neck injury.
