Four-star running back prospect Devwah Whaley committed to Georgia on Thursday, reports ESPN’s Gerry Hamilton.

The Texas high-schooler chose the Bulldogs over Arkansas, Texas and Texas A&M. Whaley will join fellow four-star recruit Elijah Holyfield in the Bulldogs’ backfield, which already features standout runner Nick Chubb

“The environment, atmosphere and the coaching staff most definitely pushed Georgia over the top,” Whaley told ESPN. “I have a great relationship with the whole coaching staff, I like the people at Georgia, and it feels like a home away from home.”

The Bulldogs are currently 8–3 and in second place in the SEC East. Georgia has the ninth-best recruiting class for 2016, according to Rivals.
