Watch: Michigan State WR Aaron Burbridge catches, spins for score
Michigan State wide receiver Aaron Burbridge made two amazing spin moves following a reception to break free and score a 29-yard touchdown against Penn State on Saturday.
With under 12 minutes to go in the third quarter, Burbridge caught a pass on the left sideline from quarterback Connor Cook at about the Penn State 12-yard line. Sandwiched between two defenders, Burbridge used his forward momentum to spin out of the arms of one tackler, then briefly accelerated forward to the 10-yard line.
He stopped on a dime, and spun counter-clockwise once again to find space. Then, he gained 10 more yards and found himself in the end zone.
The score put the No. 5 Spartans ahead of the Nittany Lions 27–10. Burbridge had six catches for 75 yards and a score to that point.
