LSU coach Les Miles was carried off the field after LSU’s 19–7 win over Texas A&M on Saturday, a game that could potentially be his last as head coach of the Tigers.

Miles has been the subject of numerous reports saying the school plans to part ways with him after the season, and also received a standing ovation before the game.

LSU athletic director Joe Alleva affirmed after the game that Miles would remain as head coach, stating, “I want to make it clear that Les Miles is our football coach and will continue to be our football coach.”

Miles holds an 111–32 record with the Tigers, which includes two SEC titles and a national championship.

Friday, Miles denied he told LSU boosters Saturday’s game would be his last.

He enjoyed himself in the postgame locker room accordingly.
