J.W. Walshreceived the starting nod at quarterback for Oklahoma State against Oklahoma Saturday night, with Mason Rudolph battling an ankle injury.

Rudolph was not ruled out for the game, but Walsh, a redshirt senior, began at quarterback for the Cowboys.

Walsh is 23 of 29 for 338 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions in spot duty this season.

The No. 9 Cowboys and No. 5 Sooners are both 10–1 and were meeting in a critical rivalry game.
