Watch: Stanford beats Notre Dame 38–36 on game-winning field goal

In a tight edition of their annual rivalry, No. 9 Stanford topped No. 6 Notre Dame 38–36 on a game-winning field goal.
No team ever led by more than a touchdown in this one, and DeShone Kizer punched in a short touchdown to give the Irish a late 36–35 lead. But the Cardinal got one last shot, and senior quarterback Kevin Hogan (who threw four touchdowns on the night) led a game-winning drive capped by a 27-yard pass to Devon Cajuste to get Stanford in field goal range.
Kicker Conrad Ukropina lined up for a 45-yarder that split the uprights.
When was the last time a field goal was the #12Best Moment?

Well, tonight's had to be.https://t.co/bs3DKCGghF
The loss drops Notre Dame to 10–2 and likely knocks it out of contention for a College Football Playoff spot. Stanford moves to 10-2 and will play in the Pac-12 Championship game against USC next week.
