Five-star quarterback Jacob Eason is reconsidering his commitment to Georgia in the wake of the firing of head coach Mark Richt, reports 247Sports.

Eason, who is ranked by Rivals as the No. 10 recruit in the country and the No. 2 quarterback, will make an official visit to Florida on Tuesday. Eason has until January to make his enrollment decision.

Four-star quarterback Feleipe Franks, who is ranked No. 39 by Rivals, made a verbal commitment to Florida on Sunday, but the Gators are still interested in adding Eason to the program, 247Sports reports. Franks was previously committed to LSU.

Report: Maryland to meet with ex-Georgia coach Mark Richt

Richt left Georgia on Sunday after 15 years as head coach in what the school described as a mutual parting of ways. Georgia junior linebacker Leonard Floyd announced he was also leaving the program following the news of Richt’s firing.
