Incarnate Word romps past Dallas Christian, 108-71

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Jontrell Walker, Sam Burmeister and Mitchell Badillo each scored 17 points as Incarnate Word routed Dallas Christian 108-71 Thursday night.

Incarnate Word shot 52.6 percent from the field (41 of 78) and was 8 of 25 from 3-point range. The Cardinals led by 19 points at intermission and outscored the Crusaders by 18 in the second half.

Kyle Hittle, Tyler Singleton, Derail Green each contributed 11 points for the Cardinals (3-2), who led wire-to-wire.

A member of Division II of the National Christian College Athletic Association, the Crusaders shot 37.5 percent against the Cardinals, hitting 30 of 80 attempts from the field, including 7 of 28 from beyond the 3-point arc. Trey Lindsey, who missed all four of his shots from distance, finished with 14 points to lead Dallas Christian (1-11).
