New Hampshire wins at Abilene Christian 86-75

ABILENE, Texas (AP) Daniel Dion scored 16 points and New Hampshire beat Abilene Christian 86-75 on Thursday night.

New Hampshire (5-2) made its first trip to Texas in program history, boasting seven Texans on its roster. Five of those Texans started against Abilene Christian and four finished in double figures. Besides Dion, Tanner Leissner and Ronnel Jordan each scored 14 points and Jaleen Smith 13. New Hampshire shot 53.3 percent.

Jaylen Franklin scored 22 points to lead Abilene Christian (3-4) with Hayden Farquhar adding 17, Parker Wentz 12 and Joyan Crnic 10.

Leading by four, New Hampshire opened the second half with a 17-5 run that began with three baskets from the other Texan in the starting five, Jacoby Armstrong. New Hampshire never let the lead get under double figures, leading by as many as 18 points.
