This season was Gasser’s fifth at Toledo. He also did two separate year-long stints as a graduate assistant with a season in between as Notre Dame College’s co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach in 2011.

Gasser was the offensive line coach and special teams coordinator at Otsego (Ohio) High School in 2009 and coached tight ends and running backs at his alma mater, Ohio Northern, from 2006–08. He played football at Ohio Northern from 2003–05.
