Iowa running back Jordan Canzeri left Saturday’s Big Ten championship game with a right leg injury.
Canzeri exited the game in the first half after appearing to hurt his lower leg after a nine-yard run. Trainers attended to Canzeri on the sideline before he was taken to the locker room.
The Hawkeyes entered the conference championship game undefeated, thanks in large part to Canzeri, their leading rusher. Entering Saturday, the senior had run for 964 yards on 176 carries with 12 touchdowns.
Canzeri gained 12 yards on two carries before leaving Saturday’s game.
