Columbia overtakes Delaware 82-69

NEW YORK (AP) Maodo Lo scored 17 points, Luke Petrasek added 16 and Columbia overtook Delaware in the second half for an 82-69 win Sunday.

Grant Mullins and Lukas Meisner contributed 15 points apiece for Columbia (5-5), which hit 47 percent of its 57 shots from the field and forced 12 turnovers. Meisner also had seven rebounds, while Lo had three assists and three blocks.

Trailing at the break 38-32, Columbia edged into the lead with a 3-pointer from Meisner to make it 42-41 with 15:37 left. The teams traded the lead before Columbia took it back for good late in the second half, with Petrasek hitting a 3 to stretch the Lions' advantage to 70-63.

Cazmon Hayes paced Delaware (4-3) with a career-high 24 points. Kory Holden added 23 points and Marvin King-Davis had 13 for the Blue Hens.
