BYU: Freshman QB Tanner Mangum completed 62 percent of his passes for 3,062 yards and 21 touchdowns with seven interceptions. His Hail Mary completion beat Nebraska on the road.

Utah: With star RB Devontae Booker injured, the bulk of the offensive load goes to QB Travis Wilson, who has completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,024 yards and 13 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.

NOTABLE

BYU: This will be the final game at BYU for coach Bronco Mendenhall, who resigned to take the head coaching job at Virginia.

UTAH: Utes, who will play in their second straight Las Vegas Bowl, won their first six games but they went 3-3 after that, losing two of their last three contests.
