Breaking down Michigan State's 2016 recruiting class

Breaking down the Michigan State Spartans' 2016 recruiting class.

Michigan State is putting together one of its best recruiting classes in recent memory. The Spartans have secured commitments from 18 players in the class of 2016, including seven players ranked in the Scout 300. The class currently ranks seventh in the country. The highest ranked player in the class of 2016 who has pledged to the Spartans is Auston Robertson. A 6’4,’’ 262-pound defensive end from Wayne, Ind., Robertson ranks 11th at his position in the class of 2016. Robertson and Naquan Jones, the No. 20 defensive tackle in the class of 2016, should help bolster the Spartans’ front seven.
