Navy’s quarterback Keenan Reynolds set the record for most career rushing touchdowns in Division I history during Saturday’s annual rivalry game against Army.

Reynolds tied the record for most rushing touchdowns in the first quarter when he rushed for 58 yards to the end zone, the 84th rushing score of his career. In the second quarter, Reynolds picked up No. 85 on a one-yard run, which secured the record for most rushing touchdowns in Divison-I history in both the FCS and FBS.

The senior set two other records on Saturday, scoring the most touchdowns in the history of the Army–Navy series with seven on the 58-yard run. Reynolds also set the school record for career touchdown passes, throwing the 30th of his career in the third quarter.

The quarterback set the record for FBS rushing touchdowns with his 78th end zone plunge on Nov. 14 against SMU.

Entering Saturday’s game, Reynolds had rushed for over 1,000 yards and 19 touchdowns this season.
