Michigan State, Kansas remain top two teams in new AP poll

Michigan State and Kansas remain No. 1 and No. 2, while Oklahoma takes over the No. 3 spot.

Michigan State and Kansas remain the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for Week 6.

The Spartans are coming off a 58–52 win over Florida, while the Jayhawks defeated Oregon State 82–67 on Saturday.

Michigan State received all but one first place vote.

Oklahoma moved up to the No. 3 spot after previously holding the No. 7 spot in Week 5. The Sooners defeated Villanova 78–55 last Monday and Oral Roberts 96–73 on Saturday.

North Carolina fell from No. 3 down to the No. 11 spot after at two point loss to Texas on Saturday.

George Washington and UCLA entered the Top 25 for the first time this season at No. 21 and No. 22 respectively, while Vanderbilt, Oregon, Utah and Gonzaga all dropped out of the poll.
