USC LB Su’a Cravens will declare for NFL draft
USC linebacker Su’a Cravens will declare for the NFL draft, he announced Wednesday on Twitter.
Cravens, a three-year starter, was a first team All-Pac-12 performer for the past two seasons. He was also a Freshman All America selection in 2013, as well as an All-Pac-12 honorable mention honoree.
“After considering all the options and looking into the future, I feel it is in MY best interest to forego my Senior year and declare for the 2016 NFL draft,” Cravens tweeted. “Playing in the NFL has been a lifelong dream and I feel the opportunity at hand is too good to pass up.”
As a junior this season, Cravens has recorded 14 1/2 tackles for loss, including 5 1/2 sacks. He also has two interceptions in 2015.
In the last game of Cravens’ college career, USC will play Wisconsin in the Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
